His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Faisal Bin Qassmi inaugurated IWS UAE’s 1st Watercolor Festival on 22nd of February 2018 at Al Zahra Hospital.

International Watercolor Society UAE in collaboration with the Cartoon Art Gallery hosted a 4-day Watercolor Festival in UAE from 22nd till 25th of February, followed by 3-day painting tour from 26th February to 28th February 2018.

Chief guests also include Mr. Can Dizdar – The Ambassador of Turkey, Mr. Erdem Ozan – Turkish Consulate General, Mr. Salih Ozer - Turkish Culture and Tourism Attache, Mr. Yubazlan Yusef – Malaysian Consulate General. There are artworks from the collection of Former Malaysian Ambassador – Dato Mohd Yusof Ahmad and Consul General, H.E. Carlos Tavera.

The Masters and Artist around the world created 63-metre-long watercolor painting (longest watercolor painting of UAE) under the guidance of the Founder and President Atanur Dogan and Vice President Amit Kapoor on 24th Feb 2018 at Al Zahra Hospital, Dubai. Total of 50 countries participated in this festival exhibiting 350 artworks.
